Hi! I’m Laura Dugan, a communications specialist with nearly 20 years of experience. I’m here to help you find the right words for all of your communications needs and to have fun along the way.
I have been a professional communications specialist for the entirety of my career and a stage manager on and off since middle school. The two jobs are not very different - both involve being able to get people to do what you need them to do.
I’ve written all kinds of things over the years, from fact sheets to fan fiction to screenplays to perfectly crafted text messages (yes, punctuation matters in texts).
I love my family, friend dates, writing, theater, and cats. In my free time, you will find me watching funny YouTube videos, enjoying McElroy-related content, or reading.
I look forward to meeting new clients and building relationships with existing ones.

Thanks for visiting my site! I learned the power of the written word when I was about eight. That’s when I sent a letter to my grandmother requesting a larger Christmas stocking because mine was “very, very, very, very, very small” and “first grade sized”. My request must have been persuasive enough because my grandmother knitted me a larger stocking, which I hang with pride each holiday season.
